The housing project POD HANSPAULKOU is situated on the South slopes of Prague city part Hanspaulka in the close neighbourhood of the ČVUT (Technical college) university campus and within walking distance from underground line A station - Dejvická. It includes the building of 33 larger housing units 3+kitchenette to 5+kitchenette (69 - 126 m²) and 3 commercial units (á approx 100 m²) (possibility to utilise as: coffee-house, surgery, office) in 4 villa-houses. The conception of the housing is solved for fully valuable family living meeting above standard demands on housing and locality. Arch. Radim Hubička has designed here not only a modern, but also an intimate environment for those, who consider the value and design of their dwelling an important part of their style of living. To complete the overall impression of exclusive housing we use high quality materials and in the whole project we give great emphasis on greenery (greenery on land between the houses, roof containers with plants etc.).
Individual low-rise villa-houses are completely independent not only in perspective, but also in function. The view of Villa Slavíkovská (A) andToulka (C) is divided into 2 wings by the entrance and lift. Four-floor villa Slavíkovská offers 8 housing units and 2 commercial units on the ground floor of the building, five-floor Toulka contains 10 housing units. On the last two floors of these houses you will find atypical maisonettes with large areas of terraces and green roofs. Villa Durinka (B1) contains 7 apartments and 1 commercial unit on four above-level floors, whereas Diskaciátka (B2) offers 8 apartments on six floors. Thus on one floor the lift is usually utilised by two housing units. Every apartment has at least one spacious terrace and most of the flats also have a green roof. The apartments are spacious and have plenty of storage space - boxroom, dressing room, niches for built-in wardrobes and also cellars in the basement. As a matter of course all apartments have two bathrooms, most of them with direct day-light. From the basement garage lifts go to individual floors, there is plenty of parking space for every apartment.
